We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team full-time in a remote capacity. This role focuses on designing, developing, and refining safety training courses that align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Course Design and Development
- Design, create, and refine interactive and engaging safety training courses.
- Develop course materials aligned with OSHA, ANSI, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.
- Utilize eLearning tools such as iSpring, Articulate, or Adobe Captivate to build dynamic online training modules.
- Content Review and Enhancement
- Audit and enhance existing safety training materials for compliance and effectiveness.
- Update course content to reflect new regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Apply innovative instructional strategies to boost learner engagement and retention.
- Compliance Assurance
- Ensure all training materials meet local, state, federal, and industry-specific safety regulations.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to integrate regulatory updates into course content.
- Validate courses to include accurate incident analysis and corrective action strategies.
- Learner Assessment Design
- Develop quizzes, tests, and interactive assessments to measure learning outcomes.
- Analyze learner performance data to identify trends and recommend course improvements.
- Communication and Documentation
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders on course design and development progress.
- Maintain detailed records of course approvals, updates, and certifications.
- Prepare regular reports on instructional design projects, compliance integration, and learner outcomes.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certified Instructional Designer (e.g., CPTD, APTD).
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification or equivalent.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, with a focus on safety or compliance training.
- Proven expertise in creating and auditing eLearning content for regulated industries.
Skills
- Proficiency with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, iSpring, Adobe Captivate).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and safety compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical content development.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical proficiency with remote work tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
